Greenhouse Update 4/25/16

Hello, hello hello! I know that it has been a little while since my last update but we have been so busy in the greenhouse! We have been planting up a storm and now the plants are just about ready to come to your house. There are soooooo many things I’d like to tell you but there is only so much time to do it in!

All of our succulents have been planted and we received our succulent bowls and bottles in the later part of March. I feel that there is a succulent for everyone, they come in so many shapes and sizes.

Our combo baskets and tubs are coming along very nicely.

Our other baskets are gorgeous too. We are using some new basket designs this year. I really love the orange Potunia in the gray basket.

The first crop of Geraniums are ready to go.

Both New Guinea Impatiens and Sunpatiens look great.

The first crop of 4″ ‘thrillers, fillers, and spillers’ are ready.

And don’t forget all the different begonias!

The first crop of 6″ is also coming into bloom. I always plant Snapdragons (because you can make them chomp. Little kids love them) and this year I’m adding red Salvia to try to attract hummingbirds.

And lets not forget about the Perennials! The bleeding hearts are blooming. My favorite variety is ‘Valentine’ but ‘GoldHeart’ is a really close second. That gold foliage really pops in the shade.

Last but not least, here is a taste of some of the new clematis we are carrying this season.

See you next time!
