Well, the weather sure surprised us last week. I expect to get some snow storms in March but not the cold, cold temps that we experienced. Yuck. On the brighter side, I saw a robin and I got to see one of my favorite truck drivers on Monday. Baldo from Four Star. He always says that Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Dakotas are his favorite route.
It was a big perennial week. Two big pallets from Garden World, a shipment from Terra Nova, rhubarb, and then Bluebird was able to fit us on their grower truck and deliver a week earlier than planned.
We also get succulents from Bluebird so we got a jump start on them this week.
I love succulents. They come in sooooo many different shapes and sizes. One of my favorites is ‘Gollum’.
The tips look like suction cups.
Another favorite is Haworthia.
Also called window plant because of the translucent markings on the leaves that let in light.
And here are a few of the new varieties we are growing this year.
