Dilled Green Beans

2 Lbs. Green beans 
1 3/4 tsp. Crushed red pepper 
7 Garlic cloves, quartered
3 1/2 tsp. Mustard seed 
3 1/2 tsp. Dill seed
5 C White vinegar (5% acidity)
1/2 C Pickling salt

Pack beans into hot sterile jars, trimming to fit 1/2 inches from the top. Add 1/4 tsp of red pepper, 1 clove of quartered garlic, 1/2 tsp mustard seed, and 1/2 tsp dill seeds to each jar.

Bring vinegar, 5 cups of water, and pickling salt to a boil. Pour into each jar, filling jar to within 1/2″ of the top. Remove air bubbles and wipe off rims. Screw on tops. Process in a water bath for 10 minutes.

Let sit for a few weeks for flavors to develop before using.
