Hasn’t this been a beautiful spring? I know we got a lot of rain and it has been cooler than normal, but the flowers have been gorgeous! The Magnolias and Lilacs seemed to bloom forever and now the Irises and Peonies are really putting on a show.  Here are a few pictures from my bike ride this weekend.

There were wildflowers blooming along the trail too.


Here is a quick look at our Bluebirds. Allen took me took out to see them before they had to stop checking the nests.


They will get prettier as they grow up. 🙂

So because June is Perennial month, over the next few weeks I’ll do some highlights on my favorite perennials. Of course, Irises make the list as they should for everyone because they are beautiful.
