Snow Removal Crew Member

As a Snow Removal Crew Member at Sargent’s, you will be part of a team that is responsible for keeping sidewalks and parking lots safe and clear of snow during the winter months. You will primarily use hand tools and blowers for snow and ice removal under the direction of the Landscape Operations Manager. This is an on-call position with a guaranteed bonus structure (more info below).

You Have:

  • The ability to be on call to work overnight/weekend hours
  • Ability to be flexible. Days/Hours vary with snow events
  • Desire to follow written or verbal direction to complete tasks effectively
  • Ability to handle tools/equipment in a safe manner
  • Ability to handle extended periods of activity and exposure to exterior elements
  • A valid driver’s license and able to be insured on Sargent’s company insurance policy (preferred)
  • A MN-DOT Health Card or ability to obtain if needed
  • An age of 18 or older
  • Availability from November – April

Benefits:

  • $15-$20 per hour
  • Scaling bonus pay per snow event
  • $1,000 bonus program paid regardless of snow events for sidewalk/hand labor (conditions apply)
  • Your choice of 14 guaranteed days off (exceptions may apply)

Schedule:

This is an on-call, seasonal position that typically runs from November through April. Hours worked will vary based on snow events. Landscape work may become available in the spring if you choose to stay with Sargent’s.
