We are certain you will find our landscape experts to be friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. Our designers work to understand your personal aesthetic style (formal, informal, naturalistic or native) and incorporate materials that inform that style (boulders, cut stone, brick, flagstone, clipped hedges, ornamental grasses, etc.).
They also identify the types of spaces you desire (a secluded and intimate courtyard or a large open space with sweeping views) and the opportunities and challenges your site affords as it relates to drainage, soils, sun and shade, circulation, views, seating areas, and water features.
Our employees have numerous years of experience in the horticultural industry and educational degrees from accredited universities. Many of our staff members are also Minnesota Nursery Landscape Association Certified Professionals. MNLA established this certification program in 1978. Certification is earned by taking an examination and kept current with continuing education annually. It has been an effective tool in the green business for promoting educated staff, commitment to the industry, and a resource to customers for knowledgable information.

Sargent’s landscape construction crews are an extremely important part of our landscape team, bringing your landscape to life.
A beautiful design must be carried out in a professional manner, with proven building techniques and quality materials, if it is to achieve the intended look and feel desired. We employ experienced foremen who have a wide range of skills in landscape construction and a fleet of modern equipment.
The final step of the landscaping process, after we have created a beautiful outdoor living space for you, begins when our installation crew leaves the site. Regardless of the style or feel your garden was designed to achieve, it will need expert care and nurturing. Our goal is to insure the beauty, enjoyment and value of your landscape appreciates with time. This can only be achieved through proper care of your investment.
