Our landscape design process begins with an initial phone conversation to discuss the scope of your project, including any ideas you have for the space (desired materials, intended use, etc.) as well as your approximate budget. Once we have an understanding of your goals, we will discuss an approximate timeline and the design fees associated with the next step in the process.
*If you proceed past this phone consult and a designer comes to your site, a design fee of $500 will be involved which covers the designer’s time and expertise. If you install your design with Sargent’s, some or all of this fee will be credited to your final bill.
Step 2
Concept, Design, & Proposal
With your vision in mind, your designer will meet with you on-site to discuss the details of your project and how to best achieve your goals. Your designer will then take all your project’s elements and create a detailed landscape plan. Once a final design is approved, you will receive a price estimate to install the project. If you’d like to proceed, you will sign an installation contract, make a down payment, and be placed on our schedule.
Step 3
Build & Maintain
This is where we make your dreams a reality. Your landscape designer stays with you every step of the way and will coordinate with your site manager to ensure your job gets installed exactly as planned. They will address any questions or concerns and keep you informed of the progress.
Step 4
Final Walkthrough
We ensure everything meets your expectations and stands behind our work. Once completed, you will perform a final walkthrough with your designer to provide any applicable care or warranty information. Should you wish, your designer can also provide a Sargent’s maintenance plan to make sure your new landscape looks and performs its best for years to come.
