Sargent’s strives to offer high quality products and would like our customers to be satisfied and successful with their purchases. Our staff takes pride in sharing knowledge of the products we carry, and we encourage customers to ask questions to properly care for their plant material. Our plant warranty is limited to Perennials, Trees, and Shrubs and includes a standard one-time replacement, is warrantied to value at time of purchase, subject to availability, and does not include plants damaged from physical or animal injury, lack of care, or weather conditions.
*We do not accept returns/refunds on clearance items, seasonal items, delivery fees, or labor charges*
Tree, Shrub, and Evergreen Guarantee
Sargent’s agrees to resupply once at no charge any tree, shrub, or evergreen purchased at regular retail price which fails to grow in the first one year from the date of purchase. Plants purchased on sale are guaranteed to the sale price only. Plants on clearance are not warrantied.
The purchaser agrees to follow proper planting, maintenance, watering frequency and winter protection, make proper payment when due and furnish proof of purchase.
Joining the Garden Rewards Club will double this warranty to two years.
Perennial Guarantee
Sargent’s has partnered with Cowsmo Compost to bring you quality organic planting compost. Cowsmo Compost products are horticulturally crafted to keep your plants thriving naturally. We are so confident in Cowsmo Organic Planting Compost that we will extend our Perennnial Guarantee to one year for perennials planted with this soil.
Cowsmo Compost is a local Midwest product from just across the Mississippi in Cochran, WI. Sargent’s recommends mixing Cowsmo Organic Planting Compost with your native soil at a 50/50 ratio.
Sargent’s will extend our PERENNIAL GUARANTEE to one year if you purchase Cowsmo Planting Compost and add it to your existing soil when planting (15 perennials per bag).
If you choose not to purchase the soil, you will receive our 60-day guarantee.
Houseplant Guarantee
The health of Houseplants and Indoor Blooming Plants is guaranteed for 14 days. A one-time replacement or store credit will be issued. Plants that are in the same condition can be returned to the original form of payment within 7 days.
Non-Warranty Categories:
Annuals, Any plants planted above ground planters or containers, transplanted plants, Zone 5 (including Japanese Maples), Garage Sale or Clearance Items.
We do not guarantee against losses due to vandalism, theft, mechanical or chemical injury, animal damage, pest damage, or neglect.
