Meet Cody! He is an integral part of the landscape team and a key contributor to the snow and ice control operation. He is often out in the middle of the night plowing or spreading ice melt to keep corporate clients’ parking lots safe. Cody’s dedication and positive attitude are part of what makes Sargent’s great.

How did you get involved in the landscape industry?
“Landscaping is something I’ve always wanted to try. The work is enjoyable and it’s rewarding to see a job go from start to finish.”
What do you enjoy most about your job?
“Each day is a new challenge that pushes me to learn new skills. There are always new things to learn and skills to perfect.”
Tell us about a recent project you worked on. What were the challenges and highlights?
“Recently my crew worked on landscaping throughout Silver lake park. The main challenge we faced was the limited time we had while navigating around other contractors. My crew and I persevered and were able to accomplish within the timeline and bring beauty back into the park.
As a professional, do you have any tips to share about landscaping?
“In landscaping, you have to be able to have fun while still focusing on the details of the job. On our Sargent’s crews, we combine lighthearted fun and serious professionalism to maintain a confident crew that gets each job done successfully.
